How to drink aloe vera
How much to drink, when, neat or diluted, in the fridge or not: here is how to use Forever's aloe vera drinking gel, based on the brand's directions for use.
The amount Forever recommends
For Forever Aloe Vera Gel, Aloe Berry Nectar, Aloe Peaches and Aloe Mango, the directions are the same: 40 ml diluted in 240 ml of water or juice, 3 times a day, shaking the bottle before each use. For Forever Freedom, it is 40 ml twice a day.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose shown on the label.

At the recommended use, a 4-Pack (four 1 L bottles) therefore lasts about a month.
Measuring 40 ml easily
40 ml is a little under three tablespoons. The simplest way is the Forever measuring cup, which is graduated, so there is no guesswork. Pour the dose into the measuring cup, then into a large glass of water or juice.
When should you drink it?
Forever says "3 times a day" without setting a precise time. In practice, most of our customers choose one of these two habits:
- In the morning, with or before breakfast, so they do not forget.
- Before the three meals, to spread the three servings over the day.
Do you have to drink it on an empty stomach? The label does not ask for it. The best time is the one you will keep every day: a regular habit matters more than a perfect time.
What to mix it with
Forever's advice is to dilute the dose in 240 ml of water or juice. A few simple ideas:
- Cool water: the simplest, to keep the natural taste of Aloe Vera Gel.
- Orange or apple juice: it softens the tangy taste, which many people like at first.
- Morning smoothie: add the dose just before serving.

Storing an opened bottle
Forever aloe vera gel drinks contain no added preservatives. Forever therefore asks you to follow the instructions on the packaging and to refrigerate the bottle after opening. According to Forever, how long an opened bottle keeps depends on how it is refrigerated and consumed: it should be finished within a reasonable time.
- Close the cap tightly after each serving.
- Keep the bottle in the fridge, not in the door if it is less cold there.
- Shake before each use.
The PET bottles are recyclable, cap included. Remove the label sleeve before sorting: the sleeve itself cannot be recycled.
What about an "aloe vera course"?
You often read that you should follow a three-week or one-month "course". Forever does not give a duration: its directions are daily, with a dose not to exceed. Many customers plan by the month with a 4-Pack, simply so they do not run out. We promise no result by a given date: an aloe vera drink is part of a varied and balanced diet.

Should the bottle be kept in the fridge before opening?
Forever asks you to refrigerate after opening. Before opening, follow the label and keep the bottle away from heat.
Can I drink it in the evening?
Yes. Forever does not set a time: if the evening suits you better, just keep the same dose and do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
