Forever product labels and certifications
Forever Living Products grows its own aloe vera, harvests it and processes it in its own facilities. Here are the labels and certifications the brand highlights, and what they mean.
The IASC (International Aloe Science Council)
The IASC is the international reference body for aloe vera. It checks the quality and aloe vera content of products. Forever states in its catalogue that its aloe vera gel is certified by the International Aloe Science Council (IASC). The Aloe Vera of America manufacturing facility, Forever's factory in Texas, is also certified and approved by the IASC.
The factory's ISO standards
The Aloe Vera of America factory is certified ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety).
Halal
Many Forever products, including the aloe vera drinks, are Halal-certified by IFANCA (Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America). A product is Halal when its packaging carries the Crescent-M logo. Looking for a specific product? Ask us and we will check for you.
No animal-derived ingredients, gluten-free
Forever publishes the list of its products that contain no animal-derived ingredients, and of those that contain no gluten. On our product pages, this information appears as badges, with an asterisk referring to the manufacturer's declaration.
Dermatologically tested
Several Forever skincare products have been tested by the independent Dermatest laboratory in Germany.
From plantation to product
Forever grows aloe vera on its own plantations, harvests the leaves by hand and processes them quickly to preserve the gel. The aloe vera plants hold USDA and EU organic certifications: this applies to the plant, not to each finished product.
