The all-round aloe gel: Aloe Vera Gelly
This is the product closest to the plant's gel: a clear, non-greasy gel with 84.46% natural aloe gel and a pH of 5.5. It fits in a bag and can be used on the face as well as the body, for example after a day in the sun or after shaving, to moisturise and refresh the skin.
Forever's directions: cleanse the skin carefully, apply a thick layer and massage for a few minutes until fully absorbed. You can apply it three to four times a day.
For the face: Aloe Activator and Aloe First
Aloe Activator contains over 98% aloe vera, with allantoin. It is applied to the face and neck with a cotton pad, on its own to moisturise the skin or as the first step of your routine, before serum and cream.
Aloe First is a mist to spray on face and body, and even on hair after shampooing. Its formula combines aloe vera, propolis, allantoin and 11 plant extracts, with a neutral pH. Forever describes it as the mist to use every day, in every season, to moisturise, refresh and tone the skin.

For the body: lotion or cream?
Aloe Moisturizing Lotion is a fluid emulsion with 36% stabilised aloe vera gel, enriched with collagen and elastin, for face, hands and body. Forever states that it "helps slow down premature skin ageing".
Aloe Propolis Creme has a richer, more cocooning texture: aloe vera, propolis, chamomile, allantoin and vitamins A and E. Forever recommends it for dry, rough skin.
Aloe MSM Gel is a massage gel-cream for the body. Forever says not to apply it to the face, and that it contains eucalyptus oil, which may cause an allergic reaction.

Gel from the plant or gel in a tube?
Fresh gel from a cut leaf has to be used straight away, and near the rind it also contains a yellow latex that must be set aside. Forever's skincare starts from stabilised aloe vera gel, with the content stated on each product and a texture designed for its use.
